Superman Movie Poster

This is a personal concept project imagining a theatrical campaign for a fictional Superman release. I designed the poster first, then mocked it up across a few real placements to see how it would actually read on a billboard, in a subway station, and outside a theater.

Reflection

Working on this campaign taught me how much a design changes once it leaves the canvas and sits inside a real environment. The billboard version reads completely differently from the theater version, even though the artwork underneath is nearly identical.

If I extended this project, I would design a placement made specifically for a phone screen, since that is honestly where most people would see a poster like this first, not on a billboard.
