Apex Legends Season 29 Zine
A personal fan zine exploring Apex Legends Season 29 through an editorial print format, built around typography, page rhythm, and layout.
Approach
Apex Legends doesn't actually have a zine, or at least I couldn't find one, so I built this as if it were the real thing: a seasonal issue that could keep going every time the game drops new content, with a fresh interview and legend changes each time. The interview was the decision that made it click. Without a professor's feedback pushing me to rethink that section, the cover story would have stayed a generic write-up instead of the format it ended up with.

Reflection
Making a zine around a game I actually play was one of the more fun projects to work on, but it also meant I had to be careful not to let my own excitement clutter the layout. Keeping the page rhythm calm while the subject matter is fast and chaotic was the real challenge.
If I kept going with this, I would add a second issue covering a different legend or map, since right now it only really represents one small slice of what the season actually introduced.
